In recent months I have been following news and trends as pertaining to weddings and celebrations amidst the coronavirus pandemic concern. One of the most comprehensive articles I have found was this piece from that I wish to share with you. Discussing the current atmosphere, the article explains:

“With a strong desire to celebrate their weddings as they had originally planned, 94 percent of couples in the U.S. and 87 percent globally do not plan to reduce their overall guest count, and 95 percent in the U.S. and 90 percent globally do not anticipate lowering their budget….”

They explain that “new wedding formats are coming”, “health and safety measures will play a big role”, accommodations for guests may change, and reception activities such as dancing may need adjusting at venues. Although social-distancing plays a part in today’s weddings, it does not appear to be stopping them. Many viable ideas make it possible for the show to go on!
